Cragun’s Legacy Courses offers the finest golf instruction in the Midwest. With a staff of six PGA Professionals and apprentices, Cragun’s Legacy Courses offers a variety of instruction designed to promote learning, fun, and development. Our golf instruction includes private lessons, group lessons, resort guest clinics, game improvement series, junior golf program, overnight golf schools, and club fitting. With a two-sided driving range, short game area, and a Par 3 course, there is a great opportunity to create a total golf learning environment.
Private Lessons
Get private golf lessons with Michael Whitlock, our new Head of Instruction! With 35 years of professional golf experience, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for the game, and a deep commitment to coaching golfers of all levels.

Junior Golf League
Join the Legacy Junior Golf League for a summer filled with fun, friendly competition, and skill-building! Open to kids ages 8-14 of all skill levels, this team-based league takes place on Wednesday nights from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd, MN. Players will compete in a unique match play format on the Par 3 course, earning points for their team while developing their golf skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Looking for the perfect way to introduce your child to the game of golf this summer? Our Junior Golf Camp at Cragun’s Legacy Courses is a 3-day program designed for beginner to intermediate golfers, ages 8-14. Held at the stunning Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd, MN, this camp offers a fun and supportive environment for juniors to build confidence, develop skills, and make new friends.
Little Linksters Golf Camp
Introduce your little one to the world of golf with the Little Linksters Golf Camp at Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd, MN! Designed for kids ages 4-7, this one-hour monthly camp combines fun, games, and beginner-friendly golf instruction to help young golfers explore the basics of the game in a playful and supportive environment.
4theKIDS Golf Tournament
Join us for the 4theKIDS Golf tournament. Kids, bring your parent, grandparent or adult with you for this fun 9-hole golf event designed to create fun, lasting memories in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for kids ages 6-17, this event is open to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned young golfers. Flights will be set up with different age groups.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are a great way to learn game fundamentals, foster camaraderie, and be inspired by playing in a group environment.

PGA Tour Golf Simulator
Practice your swing during the offseason with our three indoor PGA Tour Golf Simulator. Our simulator lets you play golf and work on your game, and enjoy league play even in the cold Minnesota winters. Enjoy golf during the off season with our three bays at Cragun’s Legacy Courses. You can select from over 90 great golf courses, including Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass, Spyglass Hills, games from around the world and driving range for practice play. There’s even three miniature golf courses for family fun.
When/Where: Simulator coming Fall 2025
Time of Play: Each 9-hole round takes 90 minutes for a twosome.
Simulator Hours: Monday – Sunday, 9:00am – 9:00pm
