Skate on Gull Lake A True Minnesota Tradition
Embrace a classic Minnesota winter tradition at Cragun’s resort on Gull Lake. Our groomed skating rink, lit up nightly, offers the enchanting experience of skating under the stars. Afterward, cozy up by the Marina bonfire for the perfect winter warm up.
Bring your own skates or rent a pair conveniently at our Marina. Whether you’re enjoying a family outing or a romantic skate, Gull Lake is your destination for unforgettable winter fun.
Hockey skates or figure skates available for rent. Reservation not required.

Experience Ice Fishing on Gull Lake
Discover the great Minnesota winter tradition of ice fishing right here on Gull Lake. Rent one of Cragun’s heated ice fishing houses, conveniently located just a short walk from the resort. Each house is equipped with reels, and bait is available for purchase at our Marina.
Our friendly team will ensure you have everything you need for a fun and memorable day on the ice. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or trying ice fishing for the first time, Gull Lake is the perfect winter destination.
- 6 Hole House: $90 for 4 hours, $150 for 8 hours

Cross-Country Skiing at Its Best on Gull Lake
Experience the thrill of cross-country skiing on our local groomed trails, winding through scenic golf courses and offering beautiful winter vistas. Whether you bring your own skis or rent from our Marina, you’re in for an unforgettable winter adventure.

Dog Sled Rides
Experience the thrill of dog sledding by Gull Lake! Feel the excitement as a team of excited sled dogs, barking with energy, pulls your sled along scenic trails. After your ride, warm up by the fire pit and enjoy a chat with our local dog sled musher.
Learn about his incredible sled dogs, their training, and his many adventures competing in dog sledding races. This unique winter activity is available to Cragun’s guests only on most Saturday afternoons, for a fee, weather permitting. Don’t miss this unforgettable Minnesota experience!
SnowShoeing
Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of winter with an enjoyable snowshoeing adventure. Wander through snow-covered landscapes, surrounded by the peaceful tranquility of the season. Whether you bring your own snowshoes or rent from the Marina, this activity offers a perfect way to connect with nature and explore the winter scenery.
Perfect for all ages and skill levels, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors during the colder months.

Sing your heart out and channel your inner rock star with a live DJ and karaoke. Warm the vocal cords as Karaoke is offered most Friday and/or Saturdays.” It is also not located in Bear Trap Lounge. I would remove the location until we find a final place for this. In the meantime, we will have locations listed in FunTimes.
Tamarack Event Centre
Stay active and entertained at our 22,000 square foot Tamarack Event Centre with basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, a running track, a fitness center and a sauna and hot tub nearby.
