No Show Policy: Rooms will be released before 5:00 AM the day following the reservation, and the first night’s deposit will be forfeited.

Golf Packages are booked on a per person basis with a $250 deposit required at the time of booking, per person. If you cancel outside of 45 days of arrival, there will be a full refund. If you cancel within 45 day of arrival, you will forfeit the $250 deposit. if you are coming on a group golf package, your entire package amount (minus deposit) will be charged on the credit card on file 21 days prior to your arrival.

Check-In, Check-Out

Our goal is to have your room or cabin ready by the time you arrive. Please note that we have increased our cleaning procedures and must allow adequate time to sanitize and clean each unit.

Check-in starts at 5:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, please enjoy the property and all resort amenities (pool, Sports Centre, beaches, etc.) while we are preparing your room/cabin. Contact the front desk the morning of your arrival to inquire if the room is ready.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Additional Lodging Taxes

All rates shown on this website do not include state sales tax. There are no additional lodging/city taxes added on vacation packages when you stay at Cragun’s Resort.

Resort Fee

Starting January 1, 2027, an 8% Resort Fee will apply to the room portion of all reservations. This helps provide the amenities, recreation, and experiences that make every stay at Cragun’s a legendary getaway.  We will no longer be adding an additional 3% credit card processing fee starting in 2027.

The Resort Fee applies to all reservations with arrival dates beginning January 1, 2027.

Credit Card Fees

A 3% processing fee will be applied to all payments made by credit card. Guests who reserve their stay by phone will not be charged the 3% credit card processing fee at the time of booking. However, if a credit card is used at checkout, the 3% processing fee will apply. To avoid this fee, guests may choose to pay by debit card, check, or cash, which are not subject to the 3% processing fee.

Starting January 1, 2027, we will no longer be adding an additional 3% credit card processing fee.

Package Changes

We reserve the right to alter packages. Rates confirmed in your reservation will be honored. Vacation rates are not valid for any conference or meeting.

Rollaways and Pack ‘N Play

All are available on a first come first serve basis. Please make sure to request one with your reservation.

Smoking Policies

In compliance with the Freedom to Breathe and Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act, all indoor facilities at our Brainerd resort, including all sleeping rooms, cabins, decks and public areas have been designated smoke free. Smoking in a non-smoking unit is a misdemeanor and the smoker will pay $300 in damages to get the room back to its smoke-free condition. State law provides that if an offender does not reimburse the innkeeper in 30 days, a $100 civil penalty may be added as well as reasonable attorney fees of up to $500.

Pet Policy

Cragun’s Resort welcomes registered dogs in designated pet-friendly lodge rooms and North Beach cabins, as well as approved outdoor areas, beginning January 1, 2025.

A one-time, non-refundable pet fee applies per dog:

• $75 per dog for pet-friendly lodge rooms
• $200 per dog for pet-friendly cabins

A maximum of two dogs per unit is permitted. Breed and size restrictions apply (75-pound limit). Please contact the resort in advance for specific details.

Dogs are permitted inside guest rooms and cabins but are not allowed in dining areas, the Gull Lake Cruise, the indoor or outdoor pool area, or South Beach (except on designated walking paths). Dogs must remain leashed at all times when outside. Pet relief areas and waste stations are available near the North cabins and North Beach.

Traveling with your dog? Please let us know before you arrive. Dogs are welcome only in designated dog-friendly accommodations and must be registered with your reservation. Guests traveling with dogs are required to review and sign our Dog Guest Agreement prior to or at check-in. If your reservation is not in a dog-friendly accommodation, please contact us before your arrival so we can help explore available options. Guests arriving with an unregistered dog or keeping a dog in a non-dog-friendly accommodation will be charged a $300 Unauthorized Pet Fee, plus $100 for each additional bedroom. In addition to these fees, guests will be required to either kennel their dog at a nearby boarding facility or remove the dog from the resort, depending on the type of lodging accommodation. Any boarding, transportation, or related costs are the responsibility of the guest. Violations of our pet policy may also result in removal of the pet from the resort and additional charges of $300 or more for damages or excessive cleaning.

Service animals are welcome and are not restricted from public areas where guests are normally allowed. Therapy animals and emotional support animals are not considered service animals under ADA guidelines and are subject to the resort’s pet policy and applicable fees.

No Fireworks on Property

To allow our guests to enjoy the peaceful vacation they came to Cragun’s Resort for, fireworks are not allowed on the resort property.
